At last report, the U.S. Coast Guard was searching for a missing Nederland man in the Gulf
of Mexico. 65-year old Alfred Charles Lensing was spear fishing about 75 miles south of
Sabine Pass when he went into the water and did not resurface. The 22-foot pleasure craft
Lensing was on was tied to an oil rig.
