The Beaumont Independent School District will have new security measures as fans enter
Memorial Stadium this year for high school football games. Fans are asked to arrive early
as it will take a little longer to enter the stadium as fans will be asked to empty their pockets
and bags. Backpacks will not be allowed into the stadium and the district will add more officers
around the stadium. The first home game is Friday.
