Beaumont police have made one arrest in connection with a weekend robbery in which the
store clerk was shot in the abdomen. The robbery occurred Saturday night at the Valero Store in
the 1400 block of I-10 East. Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, detectives were able to arrest 33-
year old Brandon O’Neil Dodd. Dodd, who was released from prison earlier this year, is charged
with aggravated robbery. The search for two more suspects continue. Anyone with any
