The DPS is trying to identify a pedestrian that was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler this
morning on I-10 in Orange County. The pedestrian, a black female, was struck as she was
attempting to cross the interstate about three miles west of Vidor, near mile marker 858.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with any information is asked to call the
DPS at 936-699-7340. The telephone lines are answered 24- hours a day
