No change in the price for a gallon of gas in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area as we head into the
holiday weekend. The average price stayed at $2.60 over the past week. The statewide average
dropped two cents to $2.59. This morning’s national average is $2.83 a gallon, which is the
same as last week. These prices are compiled daily by Triple A Texas.
