The DPS has released the names of four people that were killed in a two vehicle wreck two
miles south of Woodville inTyler County yesterday afternoon. A southbound Ford pickup
crossed into the northbound lane striking a northbound pickup. The driver of the southbound
pickup, 18-year old Travis Layne Jordan, of Devers, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two
passengers in his vehicle, 75-year old Harvey Lamar Dubose and his wife Ann Jones Dubose of
Hull, were also killed. The driver of the northbound pickup, 48-year old Robert Alan Beard of
Tyler, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his pickup, 41-year old Leslie McCann
of Tyler, was listed in serious condition.
