A Beaumont man is jailed charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault. 42-year old
Alfred Marqueal Smith is accused of kidnapping two girls, ages 10 and 14, in the 6300 block
of Chinn Lane then sexually assaulting them. The victims are the daughters of Smith’s girlfriend.
Smith was arrested in the 2500 block of I-10 East. His bonds total $500,000. The victim’s were
found at Smith’s sister’s house. They were taken to the hospital to be treated for sexual assault.
Child Protective Services responded to the hospital.
