The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a man for shooting his son-in-law over loud
music. 67-year old Angel Ramirez Marquez is accused of shooting Juan Medrano-Azocar
this past July at a home in the 4600 block of Ironton in Beaumont for playing loud music
and drinking. Azocar was shot three times with a handgun and two shots from a shotgun were
fired at him. Marquez is charged with aggravated assault-family violence.
