Three teens were killed in a four vehicle wreck on FM 787 in Hardin County yesterday. The
DPS reports all vehicles were traveling westbound. The lead vehicle stopped to turn left, the
second vehicle stopped and was struck from behind by a car. The driver of the third car, 18-year
old Carington Mosley, of Batson, was pronounced dead as the scene and was two of her
passengers, 18-year old Garrett Saulters of Votaw and 18-year old Alix Neel of Batson. A fourth
occupant in the car, 17-year old Jaron Benivades of Kountze is listed in serious condition. Two
of the other drivers, 71-year old Kenneth Matthews , of Beaumont and 75-year old Arthur
McMahon of Thicket are listed in serious condition.
