A man is in custody following an aggravated robbery outside of Tinseltown in Beaumont last
night. The suspect, with a machete, approached a woman in the parking lot, assaulted her, and
took her purse. He left in a white SUV. Police were able to locate the SUV a short time later and
arrest the suspect. He was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
