63 Pounds Of Cocaine Found Following Traffic Stop

A traffic stop in southwest Louisiana this past week ended with a man going to jail after more

than 60 pounds of cocaine was found in his truck. The stop was made Saturday on I-10 near

in Sulphur. A K-9 unit was called to the scene and located 63 pounds of powdered cocaine.

The 27 bundles has an estimated street value of nearly $900,000. 42-year old Elton Richard,

of Church Point, Louisiana, is being held in the Calcasieu Parish Jail under a $250,000 bond.
