A vehicle going the wrong way on I-10 forced the interstate to be closed for over four hours
near the Purple Heart Memorial Bridge Saturday morning. The DPS reports 44-year old
Michelle Rodriguez, of Orange, was traveling east in the westbound lanes when she collided
head-on with an oncoming car. That car was struck from behind by commercial vehicle.
Rodriguez was listed in serious condition. No other serious injuries were reported.
