One of two men charged with robbing the Dollar General Store in Bevil Oaks this
past February is one his way to prison. 22-year old Shedric DeBlanc, of Baytown,
was sentenced to 25 years yesterday. The two robbers, along with two other suspects,
were arrested the same night following a pursuit. Deblanc, pleaded guilty just as the
trial was set to begin.
