76-year old Owens Devellier was killed Tuesday morning in a house fire in the 1300 block of Caldwell near I-10 in Beaumont. When firefighters arrived on scene, flames were coming through the second floor windows and heavy smoke was present. Devellier and his wife have lived in the home for more than 20 years. His wife was not home at the time. Fire investigators have not released the cause of the fire.
