The DPS reports a bicyclist was killed last night in Orange County. 31-year old Shannon
Harrington, of Vidor, was traveling north on the southbound shoulder of FM 105, near West
Circle Road, when a northbound pickup traveled off the road onto the shoulder and struck
Harrington, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, 18-year old
Kevin Lightfoot of Silsbee, was not hurt. The investigation continues.
