A Hardin County man has died as the result of a fireworks accident. The sheriff’s office
reports 49-year old Rory Allen McGlynn was at a residence, on Burns Drive north of
Silsbee, New Years Eve and had a fireworks on his shoulder when it was lit and went
off. McGlynn died on the way to the hospital. The investigation continues.
