In Orange County, Pinehurst police are investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian. The
victim was struck by the vehicle yesterday in the 3100 block of West Park Avenue. The victim
was transported to a Beaumont hospital. The driver left the scene. Pinehurst police located the
alleged vehicle and has a person of interest. An arrest has not been made.
