Two men are jailed facing multi charges. Beaumont police were patrolling in the 3100
block of West Cardinal Drive Saturday night and noticed a suspicious vehicle in the
parking lot of J&J Express. Officers made contact with the occupants and found over a
pound of marijuana, a stolen handgun, and a large amount of money in the car. 33-year old
Edward Meyers, of Beaumont, is charged with possession. 28-year old Ronnie Walker, of
Beaumont, is charged with possession and being pin possession of a stole firearm. Both
were transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
