A disturbance over dice game early Sunday morning ended with two men being shot.
Beaumont police were called to the 800 block of Major Drive and found one of the
victim’s in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A second victim was
located at a residence in the 8200 block of Lawrence Drive. Witnesses reported the victims
were arguing over a dice game. Another man stepped in and shot both victims. One of
the victims was treated and released. The second victim was hospitalized with non-life
threatening gunshot wounds. The investigation is ongoing.
