Beaumont Mayor Becky Ames has resigned as administrator at The Medical Center of
Southeast Texas Beaumont Campus. According to a press release, Ames is transitioning
to a new role member of the governing board and will remain part of the hospital leadership.
Due to a survey, The Medical Center of Southeast Texas Beaumont Campus is temporarily
suspending certain procedures while addressing the CMS findings.
