The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an 18-month old child as
a homicide. A preliminary autopsy has revealed Raydn James Jones’ death was due to
manual suffocation. The child also had multiple contusions to his face with hemorrhages
the his mouth and eyelids. The boy died earlier this week and his home near Mauriceville.
