Two men have been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury for murder.29-year old
Joshua Hershel Barlow and 21-year old Jaylan Quin’Jordan Jones, both of Beaumont, are charged
with the March 17th shooting death of 36-year old Quincy Berlow Davis. Davis was shot multiple
times in the parking of Bar 23 Social Lounge, located in the 5700 block of S MLK in Beaumont.
The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man for murder in connection with
the February 14th shooting death of his wife. According to the police report, 40-year old
Christopher Ray Jones was involved in an argument with his wife, Olivia Dawn Jones, at
their home in the 5500 of Pine Burr when she grabbed a gun and pointed it to her head. The
gun discharged as the couple struggled over it. She died at the scene.
