A man wanted for a weekend homicide in south Beaumont is jailed. 36-year old Dion Lenoire
was arrested last night at a home near the intersection of Fletcher & Virgil on an aggravated
assault warrant. He is a suspect in Saturday’s shooting of 37-year old Paula Thibodeaux in
the 1300 block of Church Street. Thibodeaux died yesterday. The charges against Lenoire
are expected to be upgraded to murder.
