A Beaumont man arrested Sunday for allegedly tampering with evidence in the murder of
Anthony Wilson last week has been rearrested. 26-year old Bernard Bell, who posted $40,000
bond, was taken into custody yesterday on a federal charge of being a felon in possession of
a firearm. Bell’s 15-year old brother is the alleged gunman that shot Wilson. Two others,
17-year old Jamairious Gardner and 18-year John Cook and also charged with murder. They
are being held on $1 million bonds
