Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated assault. Police were called to Baptist Hospital
just before 1:00 this morning. The victim told police he was attacked at a home in the 5700
block of Western Trail. He says the suspects asked about a cell phone and vape. A gun was
pulled, and the victim was hit in the face, which knocked a few teeth loose. The suspects fled
