Beaumont police are investigating a fatal accident. Just before 2:300 this morning, officers
responded to a wreck in the 2300 block of I-10 east on the service road. Police believe the
driver, 24-year old Adriana Diane Caballero from Nevada, was driving at a high rate of
speed when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a curb.The impact caused the vehicle
to flip and strike the support columns of the overpass. Two children, ages two and four, were
injured in the wreck. Both are in stable condition and were transported to Texas Children’s
Hospital in Houston.
