All westbound lanes of the damaged I-10 bridge over the San Jacinto River are now reopened.
The westbound lanes of the bridge in Baytown were shut down nearly three months ago after a
barge crashed into one of the support pillars. Ever since then, different lanes of the bridge had
been closed as crews worked to repair the bridge. The Houston District of the Texas Department
of Transportation announced yesterday that the repair work is finished and all main lanes are
now reopened.
