A Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Port Neches man for aggravated assault. 35-year
old Michael Cody Baxter is accused of putting a gun in the mouth of his girlfriend and
threatening to shoot her. Baxter and the victim, both convicted felons, were arguing over the
purchase of the gun when the alleged incident occurred on April 12th.
