As expected, Kirbyville CISD has accepted a letter of retirement from Superintendent Dr.
Tommy Wallis. Details of the retirement agreement were not disclosed. Wallis and board
members would not make any comments following last night’s special meeting. The vote
for the agreement was 3-1. Dr. Wallis’ last day on the job will be one week from today.
