The DPS reports a 36-year old Beaumont man was killed last night when his dirt bike collided
with a car on River Bend Road near Highway 105 in Jefferson County. The fatality victim, who
was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a 61-year old
Beaumont man was not hurt. The fatality is being investigated by the DPS.
