Early voting for Saturday’s runoff election in Beaumont ends today. On Saturday, Ward 1
Councilwoman Virginia Jordan is being challenged by Taylor Nield. They were the top two
vote getters in last month’s three person race. Neither candidate picked up at least 50% of the
vote, to force the runoff. On Saturday, the pollswill be open from 7:00 to 7:00.
