Beaumont police are investigating a deadly shooting. Police were called to the 5100 block
of Oriole Saturday night in reference to shots fired. When they arrived, they found a vehicle
in the street still running with a trail of blood leading into a residence. Officers entered the
house and found 38-year old Cedric Carter. He was transported to the hospital where he was
pronounced dead.
