A Vidor police officer was forced to use deadly force against a dog that was attacking her
Sunday. Police received a call about two aggressive dogs in his yard. Vidor Chief of Police
Rod Carroll says the officer at the scene first initiated a taser, then her fire arm when one of
the dogs bit her.Chief Carroll says both dogs are being tested to see if they had rabies shots.
The officer was transported to a medical facility for treatment for the dog bite.
