Busy Week For Jefferson County Grand Jury

A man arrested earlier this week for a murder that occurred in 1988 has been indicted by the

Jefferson County grand jury. 60-year old Daniel Andrew MacGinnis, who has a Warren

address, is charged with the murder of Patricia Ann Jacobs of Silsbee, whose body was found

in the Neches River in Port Arthur. DNA testing led authorities to MacGinnis, who was arrested

in California. He is in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility under a $1 million bond.

A Beaumont man has been indicted on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. 31-

year old Ziffe Joseph Clark is accused of selling cocaine to an undercover officer in Beaumont

last month. The sales took place twice at a car wash and once in the parking lot of a convenience

store.

A 46-year old Beaumont man has been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury for

indecency with a child. Carols Enrique Yalibat was taking care of the victim and her two

younger siblings after their mother was deported from the United States. Yalibat, a longtime

family friend, is accused of sexually assaulting the victim while she was in his care.

The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man on three counts of indecency of

a child. 42-year old Herman Divila is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year old girl on

multiple occasions beginning in November of 2018. The alleged assaults occurred while the

victim was visiting her mother. Davila is the Victim’s stepfather.
