Jefferson County District Attorney Bob Wortham has announced that although brass knuckles
and kitty key chains will be legal in Texas as of Sunday, his office is prepared to prosecute
anyone that uses these items to harm someone. You could be facing charges of aggravated
assault with a deadly weapon. Wortham say exercise discretion with this new right provided
by the law.
