Two Men Shot With Arrows At California Homeless Camp

Authorities in California are trying to track down a suspect who attacked a group of homeless people with a bow and arrow. The man reportedly targeted his victims, who were living in a homeless camp on the San Francisco Bay Trail in Richmond. He managed to strike two men, hitting one of them in the abdomen and the other in his leg and abdomen. He also tried to shoot a female who was with the men, but he did not hit her.

The two men were rushed to the hospital where they underwent surgery and are expected to survive. One of the victims told police he recognized their assailant but did not know his name. They told authorities that he did not live in the homeless camp. He was described as a 5’6″ tall black male with short, curly black hair who is in his mid-twenties. He was last seen wearing a gray or blue heavy jacket with white fleece and an old blue backpack, riding a purple Cannondale bicycle.

Police say the suspect is facing charges of attempted homicide and have asked the public for help tracking him down.
