The fire at the TPC Group in Port Neches has been extinguished. However, an all clear has
not yet been issued. Response measures are ongoing. The massive explosion at the plant
occurred one week ago today. As a reminder, TPC is providing an emotional support hotline.
That number is 409-727-6400, ext 250 and is operated daily from 9:00 – 6:00.
Federal, state, and local agencies have been conducting stationary and roaming air monitoring
since last week’s explosion at TPC in Port Neches. Monitoring results continue to indicate no
human health concerns in the community. Water quality is being closely monitored as well.
Water quality remains normal.
