With Disaster Recovery Centers from Tropical Storm Imelda now closed, citizens still have the
opportunity to contact the FEMA helpline at 800-621-FEMA or at disasterassistance.gov.
As of Tuesday, FEMA had approved more than $65 million in disaster grants for Texas
homeowners and renters who sustained losses, nearly $55 million in housing grants for people
to assist in rebuilding are repairing, and more than $10 million in grants for other needs.
