A man is dead following a shooting in Jefferson County. Deputies were called to the 11000
block of Kenner Monday night. The initial investigation indicates 46-year old Buck Aubey
kicked in the front door of the home ofhis ex-girlfriend and was shot during a disturbance.
Aubey was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Several people were
in the home at the time of the shooting. An arrest has not been made as the investigation
continues.
