Port Arthur police are investigating the robbery of a convenience store. A man walked into the
Fuel Stop in the 700 block of Gulfway Drive just before midnight and pulled a gun on the clerk
demanding money. A single shot was fired during the robbery. The clerk was not hurt. After
taking the cash drawer from the register, the robber fled the scene. Police are asking anyone with
any information to call Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS.
