A 20-year old Port Arthur man has been sentenced to 25-years in prison for murder. In March of
2018, James Earl Holloway shot and killed 18-year old Kevon Washington in the 5200 block of
Gulfway Drive. Holloway used two women to lure Washington to the location. One of the
women, 17-year oldJaqiera Janoy Alpough is scheduled to go to trial next month.
She is accused of using Facebook to lure Washington to the apartment complex.
