A Florida woman caught hauling drugs through southeast Texas has pleaded guilty to
possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. 41-year old Shenita Denise Peterson was
stopped by Beaumont police this past August. 45 individual kilograms of cocaine were
concealed in the door panels of the vehicle. Peterson faces up to life in federal prison.
Sentencing will come on a later date.
