A home camera helped detectives in Newton County identify people breaking into a home.
Deputies went to the suspect’s house and found items stolen from the home. A search warrant
led to additional stolen items being located. One of the two suspects was caught breaking into
a home in Louisiana. Following a two parish pursuit, the suspect was arrested. He will
eventually be returned to Newton County to face charges.
