Following a three day trial in a Beaumont federal courtroom, a Beaumont couple has been
convicted of falsifying tax returns. 68-year oldDick Brocato and 65-year old Judith Bracato
owned a lawn service and were found guilty of conspiring the United States for the purpose
of impeding, impairing, and obstructing the government for taxes for the years 2012, 2013,
and 2014. They under reported more than $1.7 million. Both face up to five years in federal
prison. They will be sentenced on a later date.
