Beaumont Man Sentenced For Possession Murder Weapon

A Beaumont man, that investigators says had a gun that was used in a murder, has been

sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. 27-

year old Bernard Joseph Bell has been sentenced to 71 months. Bell tried to hide the gun used

in the April 2019 murder of Anthony Wilson in Beaumont. Bell’s brother. 15-year old Bryce

Bell has been certified to stand trial as an adult in the shooting death of Wilson.
