Beaumont police report a 44-year old man was killed last night in a one vehicle wreck.
The driver was traveling west on College Street at an unsafe speed when he lost control
at the intersection on Major Drive and hit a steel pole. He was responsive at the scene,
transported Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital where he later died.
