Beaumont Man Indicted On Two Counts

A Beaumont man has been indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury for aggravated robbery

and unlawful restraint. 45-year old James Nickerson is accused of using a tire tool to attack

a man during a robbery at the El Camino Tire Shop on Washington Blvd on December 5th.

On December 16th, police went to Nickerson’s home in the 700 block of Harriett and he

refused to come outside. He is accused of holding a woman inside the home at knife point.

He was eventually taken into custody and transported to jail.
