A Kountze woman is jailed following a two county pursuit. The DPS attempted to stop a
car on Highway 96 in Kirbyville when the driver sped off. The chase continued into Orange
County on Highway 62 when the driver, 35-year old Alisha Faye Lowe, crashed into a pole
while turning into a convenience store. Lowe is charged with felony evading. A passenger,
26-year old Jonathan Segeada of Lumberton, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out
of Hardin County. A second passenger was released without charges.
