Vincent Middle School in Beaumont was evacuated this morning after a bomb threat was
found in a bathroom. The school district’s bomb sniffing K-9 was used to search the campus.
Students returned to their classrooms after about an hour. Nearby Amelia Elementary was
placed on lockdown during the incident. The district wants to warn students and others that all
threats will be taken seriously and encourage parents to talk to their children about the
consequences and seriousness of making threats.
