Aggravated assault charges have been filed against a man in connection with last night’s
shooting in Beaumont. 50-year old Jimmy Lee Euglon is accused of shooting a man that
arrived at his house to speak to him about a civil issue. The victim, who is expected to recover,
was shot while he was still in his car. Euglon fled from the scene and was arrested following a
brief foot pursuit.
